Captures a numb, moral flexibility really well. In a culture like that, anything can happen, which is exciting to watch. I sort of want to go back to the start and see how these characters were first introduced. The cast does a great job of showing how they are changed by being in this place, becoming more confident (self actualized? Not exactly…) and cruel and self-destructive. When Gus leaves at the end it’s shocking and sort of stirring.
